In this situation, we see two types of walls, each with its own function with specific requirements.

Office dividing walls

It is customary to place a wall with high acoustic values between two offices. The reason is to prevent sound transmission between the two rooms. In order to be able to concentrate on your work, it is important not to hear any noise from other office spaces. Privacy can also be an important issue.

The solution chosen here is a double-glazed partition wall in combination with an acoustic panel. In fact, the double-glazed partition wall is built around the acoustic panel. Both form a transparent wall with excellent acoustic properties. The type of glass wall used is a QbiQ iQ Structural 100 with two 6.6.a.2 acoustic laminated glass.

Office and corridor dividing walls

Sound transmission between an office and a corridor is generally not a problem. People in the corridor walk by smoothly and are hardly bothered by any conversations in an office and vice versa. In such a situation, a single-glazed wall is a great solution. These are cheaper to buy and therefore an attractive choice. 

T-connection

Please notice pay special attention to the beautiful T-connection between the double-glazed wall that separates the two offices and the single-glazed wall between the offices and the corridor. This t-joint is made entirely of glass, there is no need for a vertical upright.
