QbiQ Aluminum door KDD80-100 at Prinzenstraße in Solingen, Germany.

Door unit

In this arrangement, door units consisting of the QbiQ DK100 aluminum door frame and the QbiQ KDD80-100 aluminum framed door were chosen. This door is equipped with two times 8mm laminated glass and a drop sill. As a result, the door has excellent sound insulation so that sound transmission is kept to a minimum. The door is 100mm thick and this a exactly  the same thickness as the partition. This ensures that the glass panels of the door are aligned with the glass panels of the window.
